Winter running session on the MHLR!

No, no snow. No piles of hail. No floods. BUT SUN!!! Had Ben from the 'Cornish Mamod Group' pay us a visit and a steam up. A little chilly so some good steam about, but still good fun and dry. Heres some photos of today:

Ben brought me a small electric loco that needed restoring/building as it was built by Sam of the South Trethevy Tramway........ so we burnt most of it as a early Bonfire.... well day!

You asked who got good weather, answer we did up in Morecambe at a little steamup we had at LMSjools this afternoon, bloomin' cold though, nice to think forum members were steaming up across the country, from Mawnan to Morecambe (my best attempt at alliteration :lol: )

Some people would kill for that backdrop. Including me, so if you hear a knock at the door at about 1.00 am tomorrow its me with a chainsaw.

Haha!! Thanks guys, I'm just glad now I chose that postition for the railway. The photos you can get are stunning.

Yup, got it from my friend Ian at the Lizard Light Railway whos owned for a few years and modded it with the beam/cowcatcher, lamp and cab cladding. Also has the extra motion detail too. :lol: It's sure mine now!
