Detailing the fox - updated 9/9/13

Recently added swift sixteen cow catchers to the front and back of 'the fox'. Think these really help the look of the loco.

If it can be made full scale it can be made 16mm

More details planned. Thinking of adding a whistle (non working) and vacuum brakes as well

She's not actually a lady Anne. She's a scratch build built by my dad in 1992. As the first loco he built she was made to look similar to a pot boiler lady Anne and built using a lot of lady Anne parts. Key differences are the oversized rivets, and the different meths tank. I believe the frames are shorter than a lady anne as well. She's a great loco though and still even 21 years later is a stunning runner.

I'm tempted to respray her over the winter period in the early lynton and Barnstaple livery but still not sure yet.

Funnily enough was just looking at them. May have a look at what I can knock up in the workshop but they are very tempting.

Today I got chance to add more details to her. Work carried out today is as follows:
- added vacuum pipes front and rear
- added vacuum pipe from cab to smoke box as per l&b practice
- imitation whistle added to cab
- cab steps added
- touched in paint work the had chipped at the front
