One-off Hunslet on the Barle Valley

Post by Chris Bird » Sat Aug 24, 2013 11:39 pm

Hi folks
Back in 1985, Chris Tilley created the 16mm scale Barle Valley Light Railway in deepest Somerset and since then it has developed and grown into 7/8ths" scale. on Friday I spent the morning filming with Chris and first up was a wonderful Harvey Watkins might-have-been Hunslet for the 18" gauge. There are some strange noises-off which can be blamed on a recycling truck collecting bottles, but otherwise the conditions were spot on.

You can see it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKJZXZmrJr8

Cheers
Chris
