First train of the year on the Methley Joint Railway

After a winter in the workshop the trusty steam loco takes its first run of the year

I decided to go "convertible" for the new season, gives the driver some sun (and allows easy filling of the gas tank!)

Yes, once it had heated up well I could get a couple of circuits with a rake of coaches. Then it was a short stop at the station to build up steam before setting off again.

Many thanks!!
