I couldn't be bothered to organise batteries and transmitters for the electrics so it was all Minnie from me. It was a busy day today with it being easier to stay running than to try and find siding space at times! Minnie ran well from about half ten to around four, hauling heavy loads again and apart from a derailment nothing of note happened to the mighty Millie.
Albert was clearly ecstatic at the performance of Minnie!


Here's a rare thing, Minnie being passed. Slow speed is scale speed  ;)


Something approaching a scenic shot, Minnie had been pulled over to take on water and probably to let other (faster) trains past.


Bags of power, a fair amount of noise and no steam is a pretty accurate description of how Minnie runs...

The chaos of finishing my dissertation then replacing my laptop meant that none of the stock received any attention before this morning. While most of the stock didn't need anything, a roof is coming loose, one of the Busted Bricks vans needs it's coupling re-attaching and I forgot that I removed a coupling from one of the IP MOD opens hence it's presence on the back of the train.

And now the reason why this post is in photography & not in my RHBR fleet thread, some photos & a video of other stock.

What a little beauty, and she made a fine sight hauling a shot rake of skips.


A fascinating little railcar, powered by inclined oscillating cylinders on a pair of wheels making it a 4-2-0, it's interior contains everything except the kitchen sink according to it's owner!


This ought to please some people here.


And finally some moving pictures, I still don't film enough good stuff to make a proper video so these have to do.
I have to admit those Manning Wardles do look good coasting along.

How easy is it to get to from York station?

As long as you are a member of a relevant society for example the 16mm association or another MES then you'll be fine. You can walk from the station but it is a fair old distance, around 2 miles so I take the No.4 bus to Drighouses.
