thanks Chris but I have made a bit of a modification to the original layout
I moved the original tunel to the back and made a bigger hill with a water feature
and building a pond so the water will flow from the featur to the pond and pumped back up.
then built a small bridge to cross the river
have also completed construction of the tunnel
more to come

today I had to relevel the line as i found it was to steep to go over the bridge. here is where I am at now
the river under bridge is completed
added a switch to add another side line
started concreting the raised line
so thats the possition im at for today . the line is fairly level now need to finish concreting around it to keep weeds and grass out and to make mowing easier.
next job after that is to make pond larger and line it and fit pump and pump line
keep watching this space for furthe developements

Thanks Tony cost me about $20 to make so im happy with that.
i dug in the pump power cable and water return pipe today and did a test run from a bucket of water works beter than I had hoped.
still diging out the pond and have bought the pond liner shock horror that aint cheap. so hopefully by next weekend ill have the pond dug and liner in place not sure about filling it tho while on water restrictions.
going to put some native water plants and native fish in there the ones that eat mozzy lavae. blue eyed something or other. also planting some grondcover over the tunnel and some small ferns on the hill. hopefully it should look good when its finnished . gave marvin a couple of runs on the track today and he just loved chugging along at a gentle pace. next time ill do a movie.
cheers Graham

looks good so far, just make sure that you've got a very solid trackbase. You don't want the track to "heave" after the first heavy frost, not after all the hard work you've put in.
so when is the first open day going to be? can I bring 'Green Earl' along? It'll be interesting to see how far round it'll get.
seriously, nice job. I hope it brings you many hours of enjoyment.
