Goodbye Mark I & William II Locomotives

So the Mark I (formerly the 'New Mamod Train') and William II locomotives have been removed for sale from the Mamod website.

I suppose now they'll start appearing on EvilBay as "Rare Discontinued Collectors Items" (with over-inflated price tags to suite), or is that me just being a bit cynical

There was a Golden Jubilee that appeared regularly for months asking for £300 ish. Amazingly after spending about £300 in listing fees it finally was sold. And there is a 45mm MSS that would not sell for £195. So they have put the price up to £320 and now it gets Offers! There is currently a Mark I for sale, but as it is Collection Only I guess it will go cheap.
Bottom line is if they are not selling then no point in making any more. Although the Thomas Telford is showing a fair bit of interest it will be more interesting to see if those that '
Talk the Talk' will actually '
Walk the Walk' when this loco is available to purchase - I'm trying to negotiate an unassembled Thomas Telford to build up as a kit.

But it is a Phoenix that rises from the ashes again, and again, so would that not mean it will be another Mark I & William II that rises from the ashes?

i was just referring to that the Thomas telford is taking over the mamod railway system from the mark two's and ones.

I didn't like the regulators sticking up in the air. I do approve of them in the cab now. I look forward to the telford coming out, as an owner of a mk1 and mk11 with the level of development they show the telford will be great
