It'd on the US site at the moment but I hope they sell it in the UK. It's 45mm but hopefully convertable? Would make a great loco to 'kit bash'. http://www.accucraft.com/modelc/AC77-101-C.htm

It has twin oscillating engines with gearing. It is designed by Mark Horovitz and is based on his "Indefatigable":

It cannot be re-gauged to 32mm as it is inside framed.

Outside frame by the photos, but the inside steam motor will be the limiting factor.

Interesting regardless.

EDIT: US pricing is around $360....cheap enough!

The shame is it went from Marc's nice looking Decauvillesque deisgn to something that looks like it was built from Borsig, Alco-Export and Japanese-Export locomotive leftover bits.

Maybe what the Chineese think a US tank loco looks like?

I was getting my inside/outside framed mixed up there, sorry. Marc did tell me that it cannot be re-gauged to 32mm as the motor is too wide to allow that.

It will be interesting to see what the UK price will be if it becomes available here.

YES

, forgot about the Bell locos. That page pops up on the forums every couple years, I always liked the two truck one.

Knowing the US steam modellers, these will be bought and bashed into something like these locos or one of the odd beasts that would have shown up in SE&ICo's secondhand yard in Atlanta, GA about 100 years ago.
