Driver for Millie
Driver for Millie
The roundhouse Millie is a tight fit in the engine room, has anyone succeeded in placing a driver there in such a way that he does not block the levers too much?
If yes, where can one buy a fitting Driver for the millie?
Thanks.

Thank you for the picture. It does look like a tight fit though. Strangely enough, your Millie is different from mine. I do not have a water filler and my steam regulator lever seems to be longer.

Yup! Its a new regulator, my millie has suffered from a constant stream of little tweaks and modifications. When I see something at a show that might look nice I'll add it and I've got a lot more planned, I believe that locos on the real railways underwent near constant modifications to make them more fit for their job.

I agree with your theory.Mr. Bond of the DVLR:67938 wrote:Yup! Its a new regulator, my millie has suffered from a constant stream of little tweaks and modifications. They don't have a web site - will PM the contact details I have. As I say, this particular driver I think comes in quite a variety of poses and it was a case of browsing through the display at the AGM last year and finding one with the arms in the right pose. (He was then kind enough to let me check him on the engine to make sure he fitted OK.)benchmark:67989 wrote:Hello hussra,
