Very nice photo's chaps of what turned out to be a really nice day, and a good turn-out :D
Sorry I was just too tired to take my camera out of its bag - I certainly wasn't too tired to enjoy the visit!

Thanks to Sir Haydn's delivery on the day, the next time MYFANWY apears, she'll have her W&LLR running numbers on! ;)

A bit grey & wet today, with a lower turnout - but I did take my camera again, but actually used it today ;)

BLODWEN heads a W&L freight up on the dual gauge track

Image

a better view of the consist

Image

which BRITOMART took over when the bertie came in for gas!
Sorry, no photo - we had no 16mm scale sand and the the sight of James going round the now wet & greasy rails ahead of the train with the track rubber was like something from the World Curling Championships! I could just about hear him "Hurry, hurry, hurry!" so I had bad camera shake

Here's BRITOMART at rest

Image

And life's a gas now for the ex-alcoholic OGWEN. Fully converted from meth's firing thanks to Sir Haydn making me up a gas pipe! :D

Image

Which leads nicely to Sir Hayn's J B EARLE

Image

sharing the 32mm track with Tom's LAWLEY,

Image

actually catching it at one point and making the LAWLEY look small!

Later NOEL (it was a Christmas present), another Bertie arrived

Image

along with PEGGY, a Baldwin in need of Sir Haydn's attentions running-wise. Still a lovely looking loco!

 However cleaning the tracks was worth it, until the rain came, then the whole train came to a stop whilst Brit's wheels were spinning round helplessly to no avail

Unless Im very much mistaken (and Im sure Im not as Ive got one) Its one of Tom Coopers Steamlines Talybont/Rheidol. I think they came as a kit and powered by an Osmotor. This one does look lovely.

Brit came out for a play

Its Tradition... when ever it visits somewhere... it has to fall into a pit or be found in a weird state...

Looks like a case of the right kind of snow then?

It certainly gives some atmospheric pictures!
