Seems like Ffestiniog Locos are following me around now

But I've STILL not managed to fire her yet, seeing it was stolen off me and taken up the WHR instead when 87 failed

Looks like I'll have to take my 16mm one to get a photo of it on the running board

Yes. Linda carried Midnight Blue in the 1980s.

It carried blue from 1988ish until taken out of service in 1994.

Have her lined out in proper Penrhyn style and she'll look very smart :)

I have to admit, personally I've never been a fan of Linda's midnight blue look, though I know there are many who liked it. Personally I much prefer black or green. It would also be interesting to see one of the full-size "Ladies" turned out in maroon, a la Palmerston or Merddin. Geoff Munday painted an RH Linda in this scheme and it looked very smart, but alas, the image is no longer available on the website :(

I think that if she had a lipped chimney as opposed to that stove pipe she'd have looked better in blue. On the subject of blue, has a model of either of the ladies been painted in Welsh Pony blue?!

What about a loco that could be simultaneously blue, and lined-black?
