Dolwydellan Light Rail visits the ANLR

This afternoon, James (Dolwyddellan light rail) made the long trip over the pennines by rail to visit my Afonglas and Nant Llywyd Railway, and perhapes most importently give his new loco its first steaming
I also invited along SLRmidge, whi came with his own Lady Anne and Rheidol carriages

First out onto the line was James' Edrig, Pheonix. He it is on a light engine exploriatory run

Snowden, as the loco is to be named, makes its first brief run up to Nant Llywyd in reverse

We then double headed our accucraft locos that had started maroon, but been repainted black. Pheonix leads my Superior

A double header on 6 carriages with Urien was a nice little running in turn for Snowden

As it happened the gas ran out on the pair just in time to get James back to the railway station in time for his train
I hope James and Midge enjoyed themselves
