Fatal Error...

I recieved all my latest goodies from dream steam today and started to fit them, which turned out to be a fatal error for me, first thing i wanted to fit was the regulator upgrade, simple I thought, until the fitting into the boiler got tight, so I tightened it further, and the thread went £25 down the drain, and to make it worse, Dream steam don't have any standard mamod boilers in stock, so another £140's worth of money gone for the upgraded boiler

Ive done this one, its a nusience when this happens but its a relativly easy fix. Once the regulator turret is out, carefullly remove the damaged bush and put a proper on in its place. I had to do it on a Mamod I repaired recently and im sure I can do it again if you cant.

I'm going to go with the 3 week wait for the upgraded boiler, and possibly try to get the fitting out and keep it as a spare!

I tried pulling the thread back on the fitting and it looked like it had sealed, so put it in light steam, which prove this tempary fix works, so hopefully ill have her in one piece tomorrow, and be able to test!

For a short time, When the new boiler arrives me and a friend are going to tackle all the pipework etc, i couldnt get it to work properly as i think I'd cut the pipe wrong!

Just recieved two servo's in the hope i may be able to remote control it!
