Another Maesffordd Production
Hi guys.
My sincerest apologies for not contributing much over the last few months. Hopefully I can redress the balance a little bit with the latest videographic offering. (he says in best 1950's 'Mr chumley warner' accent.) I know some may have already seen it, but here's the link:-

Filmed at Richard Copperwheats Middleshire light railway a few weeks ago, it features battery diesels, vintage model steam and a couple of the usual suspects from the Maesffordd Railway on a day out. Oh yeah, and plenty of quarry stock. Turn the sound up when the black Lady Anne comes on. It's worth it!
Paul.

Absolutely Awesome video. I'm currently 1 min (taken nearly 2 hrs) into my attempt at a vid for the PTLRfest a few weeks back and it makes me want to delete it and start all over again!
Also would like to say that line was simply beautiful!

.....[a few minutes pass hunting down replacements].....
"So, which comedian has uncoupled my entire train?!?!"

Glad you all liked it.
To answer a few questions. The Hudson Hunslet is indeed one of the new IP kits, as is the blue "Feanor" class loco' at the end. Paul P has actually now produced a 7 1/4" version of the 'Huddy' using the IP kit and photo's of the original as guidelines. A photo of me driving the beast is on my site.
William, if you are after some of Paul P's wagons, your best bet of getting hold of him will be at the Llanberis Lake railway during the summer, he's one of the drivers and makes the pilgrimage up there from Norfolk about twice a month. Failing that I am hoping to become an 'agent' for his wagons, so let me know what you'd like and I'll let him know. as a guide, he was selling the flat slab wagons Ready to Run at Merstham for about £18 each, Not bad value considering a basic IP lollypop range open wagon kit costs about the same money even before you've added glue and paint.
I'm not sure he's added a chuff pipe to the Lady Anne, he just spent a lot of time fettling it to get the valve timing exactly right, which might explain why it sounds so good.
