The NWAG Spring into action at the Ingleton Mountain Railway

Today the NWAG held it's first steamup of the running year proper (hopefully it's all trains, trains and random laughter events all untill October now) and it was held at the only NWAG line across the border in the undemacratic republic of North Yorkshire, the Ingleton Mountain Railway. The sun shone (mostly) and the usual NWAG jollity was much in evidence, as well as a variety of locos. Here be the pics
Small diesels kicked things off, here is Wombatt which suprisingly comes from the Pine Tree Light Railway
The resident Tom Rolt, with SLRmidge at the reg, rolls off the pond viaduct
PTLR Cecil's Caradoc climbs one of the interconnecting lines in a big cloud of steam. Note the new lovely slate walling, bought off E-bay apparantly!
David William from the LMS, now complete with neat little cow catchers
Unfortunatly, PTLR sam got the wrong idea with "mountain railway" and bought along a loco with hill climbing abilities and set it up pushing the trailer car from the PTLR's locomotion railcar set!
The track at the IMR is not known for its quality, so I bought along the ANLR permanant way train!
A fantastically bonkers tram engine, which went like a bat out of hell and make everyone marvel at how it stayed on the rails
Another lovely, lightlined addition to the Fairfield Railway locomotive fleet
Things ended with yet another of me and PTLRcecils double headers, now becoming quite a tradition. Caradoc leads Urien on this occasion in lovely backlighting

At this point I would normally thanks the guy that drove me to the steamup, but for the first time ever I was the designated driver and gave SLRmidge and LMSjools a lift insted!
