Snow in Durham.

Today we got some snow. Not think enough to settle, but it was good enough for me, so I got my mamod 'Jane' out and had a run. Here's some pics.

We had 3-4 inches of snow today. It settled and kept snowing until about 11am.

I went out into the garden as my track was still there from yesterday, and I had a job finding it

I was going to run Anna out in the snow, but due to the cold I couldn't get the safety valve out!

Nice pics Matt :) The snow wasn't so great for me though, we had to cancel our trip up to Scarborough because the motorways weren't gritted

It snowed but didn't settle when I was at Williams yesterday, it was strange one moment it was nice and sunney, the next b****y cold and snowing.
Thanks to William for a great afternoon at the SHR :D (Pics to come when I get back home)

Nice to see a Mamod in the snow.

What is that you've got on in the cab Matt? A lubricator or a gas burner perhaps?

It's a lubricator that ptlrcecil's dad fitted when he rebuilt the mamod for me. I'm not to sure which maker it's from.

I belive it's a genuine Sparkes Engineering article?

I'm not too sure. He said something about getting it from a friend who had some spares.

I've been chatting with the PTLR staff this evening and I believe it to be a genuine Sparkes Engineering lubricator, but please don't quote me on this.

I believe my Mamod, 'YDG' has a genuine home manufactured lubricator made by the same PTLR engineer!
