For christmas I was given this from my granddad. It's a modifed mamod (actually, only thye frames, wheels, smokebox and side tanks are from the origional loco that he was given) I decided today that I would make it more industrial. I filled in the sides with wood as per many industrial locos. I then made a toolbox and weathered it. I am hoping to add soke lubricators, a rolled up tarpauline for the backsheet and make some fire irons and safety chains. Pics show the progress.

Gas tank is scratchbuilt. The industrial/contractor look was what I was trying to go for. The pictures aren't very good so I will get some better ones at some point.

Ran the loco for the first time today and it went as promised, very nicely. Pics are below...

Thanks, I was a bit scared to give it a go, but pleased i did as I think that has improved the loco. May try some other locos now providing it stands up to the oil/water which it should.
