There have been a few changes in the lineup for this. First the bad news....
Count Louis will not be ready in time, so the class 30 double heading will hve to wait :(
Sian may also not be able to make, as the petty politics of who to pay for its visit is rearing its ugly head. I have my opinion on who should pay but i'll keep quiet in case it sorts itself out
But heres the really big news. Not just one Romney pacific visiting :D BUT TWO :D :D :D :D The second is number 7 Typhoon, both Hurrican and Typhoon will fit on the same lorry. I must get the photo of these 2 double heading up the valley!
All happening because 2 soon to retire Romney drivers want to have one last go at driving on the Ratty
I'll keep you all posted of any further changes
Ps Wroxam Broad will be staying till the end of May, covering for longer out of traffic than it should of been River Irt

The gala is now very close. The politics got sorted so Sian arrived last Friday and hauled 2 services on Saturday, the timetable and loco roster has been published on the Ratty prservation soeciety website. The big one to see is River Esk, Typhoon and Hurrican triple heading on the Bank holiday Monday.

I look forward to seeing that. We're having a post-PTLRfest (or should that now read post Lady Anne fest) day out up on Ratty! I heard Sian ran 4 trips sat and 1 on sunday?!?

Might see you up there! Me and dad are doing a guarding turn on the Monday :)
Not sure about Sunday but on Saturday according to one volunteers fotopic site, Sian ran a 9:50 test train before hauling the 12:10 and 3:50 service trains (both rostered for diesel haulage), although things were a bit late as River Esk had to hault for some miniutes whislt the driver persuaded the injectors to work! http://cumbria.fotopic.net/
And if you see here http://photos-by-ian.fotopic.net/
Typhoon and Hurricane have arrived! :D  :D
These are both great fotopic sites for news about the Ratty- if you can't get to the gala then there should be great pics on these sites!

Yes you did, looked like you enjoyed yourself
The last visitor to the gala Wroxam Broad from the Bure Valley Railway is due to arrive tommorow, and to further answer Bungles question, Sian ran on 4 services over the weekend, so I would guess that that was 2 on Sunday

Vids to appear on youtube soon, and i'll post some pics when I have a bit more time. anyway, today I rode up behind Bure Valley Railway loco Wroxam Broad, down behind Hurricane and then a round trip behind Sian and Synolda double heading
