Guildford Model Engineers Steam Ralley 2010 (lots of pics!)

attended the Guildford Steam Ralley on Sunday, my Accucraft Ruby providing me with something to chase after. Did a half hour slot on the clubs permanent layout, where my brake van had some spectacular derailments on pointwork, its since been banned by me to save my embarassment! Migrated over to Carol and Graham's portable layout and spent the rest of the day there in between doing tea runs and avoiding buying things. I didn't get any pictures of my own loco which ran as well as ever, drawing several punters to remark how they've never seen a Ruby run as well as that (they aren't all bad) but got some pictures of stuff that interested me. Saw Will (made in england) and of course Andy was there.

my phone decided it didn't want to take nice photos, so they are not the best quality but you can see them well enough.

engine of the day for me was "Krakatoa", the tiny little blue engine in front of the Lyn. Its a Cracker but its so beautifully made and its had a bit more stuff put into it like a proper regulator etc.

Yep, my favourite to, but I love crackers, so i'm slightly bias

Was a fantastic day out, could of watched the 16mm all day but spent too long talking to people.. dad got bored... had to keep moving!!

Brian, You like that train.. Get a couple of shampoo bottle tops of ebay and the possibilities are endless
