Its alright i supose.
but i dont like the 7/8ths style.
I cant seem to find the perfect coal fired loco.
DJB emma- nice, but way overscale
DJB fowler- very nice, but expensive
sabre anette- i dont like lady annes
sabre anabele- 7/8ths
TME- perfect! but an unholy amount of money
DJB Robert- Looks prefect! very attractive, oh wait its a kit :x
Cant there be a rtr, or simple kit, that doesnt use r/h wals valve gear (its really boring), is an attractive little tank loco, but has plenty of nice detail.
ohhh i am fussy about poo poo

Personally, my ideal coal fired loco L&B 2-6-2, or a quarry husnlet in the style Covertcoat is now.
Garden Railways-best hobby in the world.
Shawe Steam Services make coal-fired Darjeeling, Jack, William, Atlantic and Linda based on Roundhouse components.andysleigh wrote:Cant there be a rtr that does use r/h wals valve gear (its really boring), is an attractive little tank loco, but has plenty of nice detail.

No conversions, but a new one is under £3000 IIRC.Mr. Bond of the DVLR wrote:Cooor, a coal fired jack wouldn't go amiss, how much do the conversions cost?
The Jack in my avatar is coal-fired, with a Fowler tender. It carries water in the tender and the saddle tank.
