Hello,
I spent today with the lovely 16mm folk on a layout at the Llanberis show, the steam was not the only stuff that I've been playing with a R/C 16mm forklift truck, and I'm pleased to announce that I'm addicted to the challenge of loading 16mm waggons with pallets. So the Seibiant Hill Railway Co. has placed an order for a similar one off of eBay.

A little bit of news from the village of Penrhyndeudraeth (16mm scale), the council has recived a planning application for a Builders' Merchants going by the names of 'High's' to be consructed on the plot shown in the following photo:

Yes I've been having the same problem, as both these pictures do not appear for me.

So it is not just photobucket that has problems then!

The second pic (the builders merchants) works for me but the first doesn't

How much does one of these forklifts cost Will?

Forklift costs around £20 !

I have the problem in the evenings here but this morning its fine

Looks cool SB! I ordered mine, but no builder's merchant, i will be used at the mine for loading lumps of rock onto the trucks!

I got mine this mornin' in t'post. I quicklyunwrapped it, but then realised I had no AAA batteries, so I persuaded my dad to run me into the village int Land Rover, and we got some. Heres mine, I will weather it a bit etc. for work on my line. Having been working on the MHLR this morning, I decided I needed another sidings closer to the edge of the wall, and thats near where im placing my Pub, so I can use this as a excuse to build brewery wagons and use the Forklift to carry crates of beer up to the pub!

Looks like another toy to buy for my Garden Railway, although why can't they make them for AA & not AAA batteries?

I assume that the packaging tells you which 27MHz frequency it uses, as I currently control all my R/C locos using 27MHz as well.

I dont know, I think they are AAA due to the amount of stuff in there, 3 motors (Lift winch, drive, and steering) so I doubt they can fit AA in there.

No, sorry, it only says 27MHz only on my box... (stupid isnt it!)

Right thats it, the WLR needs one!

Just had a look at ebay and there seems to be 2 different models available.

One comes in a blue box and uses 1 x 9V and 4 x AAA batteries, and the other that comes in a yellow box and needs 4 x AA batteries (although that may be a misprint).

Might be tempted to get one tonight.
