Track Shack & Roundhouse

Post by MTA » Mon Jan 11, 2010 12:21 pm

Once all orders to Roundhouse with the 15% VAT rate have been fulfilled, Track Shack are to supply the Roundhouse range of locos.

Good news in that postage won't be charged at a very high rate for locos!

I wounder if they'll sell them at lower than the list price, like with the accucraft locos.

The real point is, it's cheap and FAST. My Edrig was also next day delivery - fantastic!

They're also very friendly and helpful, mind you so are all the traders I've dealt with so far. There's a thread on another forum where some are taking a bit of a bashing, I've got no complaints though.

The only thing re Roundhouse, if I manage to afford a brand new one, I reckon I'd like to pay a visit and pick it up from the factory personally (less than an hour up the road!). Just for the crack!

Doubt it- Roundhouse have a different pricing policy to Accucraft. I imagine Track Shack's prices will be lower than most perhaps, but not to the extent the Accucraft prices are.

Accucraft have a 25% mark up on the trade price inc. VAT, I don't know what Roundhouse has but I should imagine it's fairly minimal...
