Dear all,

I would like to make 1 or 2 open passenger coach to play with my little son and his differents small characters like "Little People", "Sylvanian", "Playmobil"......

Do you have some drawings or pictures or even print files ?

None of the above but a couple of suggestions - how about using a chassis from one of the kit producers to add your own body & seats to, alternatively adapt a kit (e.g. Plateway's Alpine series, either https://www.platewaymodels.co.uk/shop/p ... lpine-open or maybe https://www.platewaymodels.co.uk/shop/p ... iage-b5j7x without the roof?

I have a GVT open coach in the 3D print files section. You could easily cut the top off. It's for 45mm gauge but it should be easy to regauge. You'd have to provide your own wheel sets ( eg Binnie)

What about a 'flat' with a Lego top-surface?

Lots of creative potential for all sorts of weird and wonderful creations.

That's a good idea, but my son is 2years old, so Lego are not for now. But for the future I keep the idea in mind

I designed a lego wagon (borrowing sole bars from Rik) and I included a Duplo version, so that might be an option for a 2 year old?

Thinking about the lego wagons reminded me I made a pair of simple wooden open passenger coaches for my nephew and niece when they were younger. They also had Playmobile and Sylvanians. I thought I'd written it up somewhere but I couldn't find it, so I've posted about it on the blog with some photos.
