Probably been asked before but I will ask again.
What experiences have people had with using PETG?
I am considering dipping my toe into the water so to speak as I want to print some points that will be in a hot shed (35C+) and am worried about warping.
I would like to use them outside (again 30C+) and from what I have read PETG is a good way to, I did read that ABS is good for for what I am planning but I do not like the sound of the toxic fumes.
Experience or advice greatly appreciated.

That is putting me off using PETG but I do need something that will survive in the outdoors down here (we had a heatwave of 3 days with above 35C) which I am sure would destroy any PLA printed points especially the blades.

Graeme, I've never tried PETG myself, but if you just put petg into the search box, there are some members who appear to have had more success than Rik, might be some pointers there.

I've used PET-G without much trouble here. One key thing to remember is that you will NEED to dry it properly before printing, even straight out of the packaging. If not you'll soon suffer dreadful stringing and surface issues.

Not sure I'd opt for plastic track outdoors myself.

I'm using plastic track inside my steel shed that is a hot box in summer so was thinking if it warped I might be forced to use PETG so is a set of points survive outside in the blazing summer sun it should be OK in the shed.
