Gauntlet track

A few days ago I came across this video and was having a hard time figuring out what was going on:


A lot of the comments (auto-translated) mentioned "gauntlet" so I started looking into it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gauntlet_track

A gauntlet track is when two tracks run alongside or interlaced with each other in a way that only one can be used at a time. They can be useful to share a bridge, tunnel, or other right-of-way with two different gauges, or to provide access for two different loading gauges on the same track gauge. Not sure if I'll use this in my modeling at all, but it's something to think about!

This is something I've actually seen before, well heard of that is.

Apparently there's a lot to be discovered train wise on Chinese YouTube!
