Storm Henk arrived in Wallingford with a vengeance this afternoon - but that was better than the miserable drizzle this morning
Tram Cyrus had a little run round some of the sidings and storage shed before the wind became just too much.
I am planning to build a control panel for the WIRL to replace the LGB control boxes - retaining the LGB booster box and the 18v AC power plus a clever little circuit to switch the LED indicators on the panel. I hope to document the development as it goes on if that is of any interest?
Anyway todays video is at:

Any "How I did it" documenting is always very welcome.Ianm wrote: ↑Tue Jan 02, 2024 5:06 pm

You did well to shield the mike from the gusts.
I've not ventured out into the garden for weeks - maybe months!

Hi All
I did manage to get into the garden for a while on Wednesday (after a blustery morning on the golf course - don't ask about the result, please ).
Bulldog Jordan went to look round some of the sidings (with a bit more explanation of what's what and what's planned. He also managed to find a couple of PW problems that will need fixing in the coming days (weeks?)
Still hand held I am afraid - but I did find the camera and sled I use for rides round the track, so if I can remember how to use the remote control -things should be better from the 4th.

Plenty of useful looking sidings there.
Looking forward to seeing the freight movements to and from them
