It wasn't just the sound I remember, it was the smell of burning dentine!!! It put me off going to the dentist for about twenty years!

A few hiccups along the way - and a regret that I've used old packaging for the windows. Can't replace them now as they are embedded in the sides of the coach. Just trying to decide whether to add curtains .....

Now blogged the build.
https://riksrailway.blogspot.com/2023/0 ... coach.html

I'll tidy up the parts and create some standard seating and then upload them to the 3D print files section, in case anyone wants to print out a bog standard 1901 GVT Third Class coach.

Brilliant! I'm 2/5 of the way to a matching set. I'd just promised myself I wouldn't build any more coaches for a while too

I have similar problems. From a single rake of coaches, I now have four - and insufficient space to store them all ..... 🫣

Very nice! I particularly like the armchairs...

And don't the GVT carriages look good in maroon livery?

I set out this spring to build a storage shelf for my stock, but building more stock was more fun... so now I need two storage shelves!
