Parkside speed controller

Hello, I have a 5"G batt electric loco now 20 years old fitted with a 60A Parkside Electronics controller. This has just suffered a partial failure in that the loco will only run in reverse. Parkside seem to have ceased trading and don't answer calls or emails. Can anyone recommend a replacement or repair? I know nothing about electronics. There are 4 PM motors each rated 12V, 600W. Two 12V batteries wired in series.

Looks very much as if Parkside has gone AWOL. This exchange refers back to 2020. Sounds like Marcus may have succumbed to COVID.

Ah, I wonder what happened to Parkside. We were in the same position, and I just swapped the whole system for 4QD, which is frankly much better equipment and reasonably priced. They advertise in MR usually. We only paid £100 or so for a very powerful unit, which I'm delighted with.
The Parkside units are nice and easy for an engineer to have a go at servicing, but when I costed trying to get it mended it didn't make any sense

4QD is also my recommendation.
The price may be higher than others BUT:
you get a quality product and support.
I talked to Steve several times about the possibility of interfacing an old pro120mark 2 to a 4QD 300.
He was friendly and helpful and now I have a solution.
