VOTE now for the Sept 2022 Gallery .
The theme was:
"A 'Station or Halt', which can encompass any activity (or lack of) within a Station area."

There has been a wide variety of interpretations, so it's going to be interesting to see the voting. Thanks to evryone who entered.

PLEASE vote, even if you haven't entered and/or don't usually vote. It only takes a couple of seconds, but you do have to be logged on to the forum to be able to see the buttons!

Voting closes on 16th September. Everybody has ONE vote and you may change your vote at any time up to the 16th.

This quarters entries are:


1 - "Arrival of the delayed 09.20 Umbridge to Brockhampton"
2 - "TCE 66 shunting a mail wagon for the express train:"
3 - "My steed for the weekend."
4 - “Roll out the Barrel” A busy scene at Wallace Bridge Halt
5 - "Cuttle Brook Halt" - train approaching at last!
6 - "Matelot’s Halt"
7 - "Off Peak Return".
8 - "Port Isaac Road Station"
9 - "This poor soul still believes that Timetables are adhered to."

Extraordinarily high standard this quarter, even by that set previously. Very difficult to choose!

Couldn't agree more Simon. I've voted, but feel like I've short-changed some of the other entries.

I reckon this is the toughest choice we've ever been presented with!

Every single entry had some merit, I managed to get down to a top three but picking a winner led me to very carefully re-read the theme, consider what that meant and then how best my top three met that target. Thank goodness I didn't have to rank them first, second and third!
