Here is my pre-production prototype Cheddar Models Iver. THIS IS THE VERY FIRST ONE EVER MADE! Several differances between this and the production model. I have found the location of the second prototype and would love to purchase it but he wont sell

Unfortunatley the company who make them have now shut down but you may be able to get one secondhand. One went on ebay recently for £255

I may build a few when i get the plans. Maybe make 2 in each gauge and sell one of each

Apparently chedder marine boilers are still available of some other company (dont know which one). I wonder if they will bring back the garden railway range. (I always liked the hercues)

Aye Stuart Turner bought out the company. Not making engines yet though
Tim and Claire from Cheddar Models set up a company making boilers called Cheddar Valley Steam

Wansnt it turner valve gear that the cheddar locos used.

Aye they used Turner valve gear on the slide valve locos
It has nothing to with the Stuart turner company though

Oh right I thought stuart turner developed it but then again thats just me thinking.
