As I looked back at my pictures I realised I didn't take that many of the next stages of the layout, we must have been too busy playing!

The PDF Hunslet gained lining and running well with the remote control. The rest of the stock started to grow as I bought kits from most of the usual suspects. I'm a big fan of how the HGLW kits go together, it's easy to get the chassis setup and painted before then working on the rest of the body. Any kit that I can paint in sections, so I don't need to bother doing too much masking I enjoy!

The little station hut was a Christmas present and starts to make it all look more like a railway.

At the end of 2019 the extension was started and then completed in lockdown 2020. I had this thread on the build of the extension.

Looking really good. The infrastructure is coming along nicely. Looking very much like a proper railway.

You will soon have your line looking like you want it to be. It's looking brilliant now after such a short time. Well done. :salute:

Jumping to the present day, I finally caved and bought a live steam engine :) This is a very nice Lady Anne from my first Peterborough garden railway show.

She is just shunting the good train having brought it into the station. Runs really nicely..

Welcome to the slippery slope of live steam ownership! Tidy engines are always nice. Any plans for it?

My one and only (so far) steamer is a Lady aNNE. second to none railway. Lovely little line you have there.
