The trouble with cardboard engines...

Post by laalratty » Fri Jun 12, 2009 10:43 pm

As most of you will know, LMSjools has been running his Lawley around with a card mock up cab and tender before he starts cutting brass. However, there was obviously something wrong for the driver of the new machine...

The health and safety people had a big problem with the cardboard fall plate of the new tender, as it had allowed the driver to fall through before crushing him in the gap. A redesign is required
"What the hell is that?"
"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."

  Yikes! If I was a driver at the LMS, I'd opt out of those tender engines and stick to Edrigs!!!
