Quarterly Garden Railway Gallery - June 2019 FINAL REMINDER
Quarterly Garden Railway Gallery - June 2019 FINAL REMINDER
OK folks, time for the next Gallery.
Since only one of the previous joint winners has sent me a theme for the next one, his offering is chosen by default, no need for a run-off vote.
-steves- chosen subject is "Railway Scenery"
He says, " I think so many people have such wonderful scenery, backdrops, buildings and themes to their railway and I would love to see some in the "best light", so to speak "
So thats it, get your entries posted on this thread as soon as you can. Last date for entries is 15th June. No need to take pictures specially, although that's up to you of course.
Rules as before and Steve is not allowed to submit an entry for this quarter.

That's handy. Made the most of the weather yesterday and took a few shots of the brewery 'on location'. Tricky to decide which to use as it's not in the most photogenic of places, but I'll give this one a try.

I think Rik has the winning shot already, brilliant photo!

I was thinking that too as soon as I saw it. It's certainly going to be difficult to beat.tom_tom_go wrote: βSun Apr 07, 2019 1:10 pm I think Rik has the winning shot already, brilliant photo!

That's very kind of you folks, but you must remember there are some very fine modellers / photographers on the forum. I can think of several photos I've seen at various times on here which are a whole lot better.

The final sun set on the now closed RWLR...

Nice shot Tom. Typical railway-like clutter and I've always admired your signalling system.

I like the way the distant trees seem to be in scale. Almost as if you planned it that way .......

Spooky..... the trees were there at least 15 years before the railway, I must have seen into the future?

Sequoia Falls halt on the Crowfoot Light Railway.
This small halt is for the use of tourists and anglers and at the time of the photograph had only rail access.
