A modest foliage on Haruka garden railway

Here are some photos I took this morning. The weather is a bit warm this year so not much foliage in the garden railway, except the Japanese maple tree.

That Japanese maple is really attractive. Must think about something to give a bit of autumn colour in my garden.

Japanese maple trees are very much adaptable in most condition. They like to be in the shade, a bit moisturized soil. Particularly, the air from ocean makes them happy. The same species like mine in Japan must have better color, the leaves are transparently bright red.

Plenty of shade and moisture in my garden. I've always wanted to live near the coast. I wonder if the missus would mind if I towed the house and garden westwards 50 miles!

I used to live in Cleveleys just 200 yards from the front Rim...It was great in the Summer

But by heck in the Winter........
