The thing is with thomas is that all the storys have a grain of truth in them and unless the magic railroad is some part of a stoners brain I dont see how that quite fits.
Also on plar express one minute youve got 5 carrages the next theres 12 How?

Yeah, I noticde that thing which the carriges. Also, if that train onlt takes about 20 kids to the north pole, why does it need 4 carriages. At the most it needs 2-one for the kids, and another for the staff and the broken toys.

I still try to watch the Simpsons repeats when I can on CH 4. Futurama was also great, but it was a pity it stopped so early.

I've just watched the Simpsons Movie on DVD (got it cheap in Dubai Duty Free on Thursday), and it has a trailer for the new Futurama film, so looking forward to seeing that one on DVD also.

Took my nephew to see Thomas and the Magic Railroad. Sadly it has suffered from the usual 'Made in the USA' - I'm sure we could have had a much better film if a British Studio had the guts and money to make a Thomas Film.

Not seen the Polar Express, but the positive comments in this posting may make it worth watching, if I can get a cheap DVD.

Chris Cairns.

I've just been watching 'The Great St Trinian's Trains Robbery'. It's brilliant :D! The train scenes are rather good. I've found out that they were shot on the Longmoor Millitary Railway in hampshire. The film is really funny throughout.

By the way, private schools aren't as bad as St Trinian's. I Know. I go to one.

I saw that. Have you seen the new St. Trinians? Critics say its rubbish, but its rather good! Go and see it. If you compare it to the old films, it is not as good, but it was very funny.

In one of my previous posts, i said that the prvate school I got to isn't as bad as St Tinian's. Well, in a few ways, they're actully very simular. e.g, the sixth form play violent games, oftern involving a rugby ball or hocky stick(no, I'm not refering to rugby or hocky-although a guy had to go to hospital with a smashed arm at our last rugby match). A gut in my study was selling food and drink to almost everyone in my house untill he got caught. Foutunatly, the teachers act like adults, unlike the teachers in the films who encourage the children's lifestyle.

Who remembers the old trumton style tv series that use to be on. In one of them, called Chigley, one of the main characters was a lord who owned a miniture estate railway like a Heywood line. The lord used it like a Heywood line to, and it appered in every episode.
