A Spring Steam Up on the Scorton Bank Railway

Well it may be the first day of Spring but it was pretty chilly today. However us hardy souls up North carried on regardless with this year's first steam up on the Scorton Bank Railway......
Taliesin arrives at the main station...
Guillemot storms the bank with a heavy rake of V of R coaches..
Russell passes the old quarry...

The station building at Scorton Bank is based on that at Pen-y-mount
Here are some of pics from today
Lady Adele from the Little Morecambe steam railway slogs up the gradient to the top curve beside the River Wyre
A Russel hauls a mix of Welsh Highland, Corris and Lynton and Barnstaple stock past Park Field station.
Taliesin pauses at Park Field. Alas Tal's second run was cut short by the batteries on the engine going flat, which caused a runaway with the regulator having to be shut manaually whislt chasing an engine going rather fast! Scared-I wasn't, much...
Finally the SBR resident Roundhouse Katie pulls into Scorton Bank with a goods train.
With thanks to the director of the SBR for a pleasant afternoon, and Taliesin's batteries are now on charge...

I've run faster, but not by a lot
I had tried to put up a short video of a Roundhouse Russel on the SBR but something has gone seriously wrong with videos on photobucket (well they arn't playing) so I can't.

Cheers mate. Yes it does look very nice. And chris is still in the habit of trying to destroy fairlies I see.

What! Me! Destroying fairlies! Never! Certainly not Taliesin, it was dad trying to destroy it, as he was driving it when it went wrong!
lol at your new signiture, though I think CSI Ulveston has a better ring to it. As for the plotlines...

Aslong as it's Garden Rail that's been smoked.
Which takes me back to a conversation I had today about the feasability of smoking biscuits. (The sooner I finish school the better, Port is starting to have a bad influence on me)

It's not just me that remembers posts put on the forum from month's back then
I find that the further up school you get, the more science lessons have a bad influence on you!!!

This was realised after I posted it and I couldn't be bothered to change it. But lets just say A level physic and chemistry got interesting at time... 
Isn't this tiny writing a bit pointless?!

The reason I ask because it did actually take place in Science!! Tiny writing so that people don't have to read what the admin get up to if they don't want!!

ah well good guess on my part then. Must be all those bad influence science lessons i've had. Did I mention the wine and the scalextric, and the thermite, and the microwaves, and the Jeremy Clarkson dvd etc etc? :lol: :lol:

Did I mention the batty old witch that we had that hald way through the year realised she was teaching us A2 level physics instead of AS. (No wonder I failed).
P.S what is the deal with the tiny writing.

Wow A2 physics, I found As level hard enough so I dropped it. Pretty raw deal there anyway.
