i meant how long before a TRAIN goes for a bath not you

judging by the smell i dont think youve ever had a bath

Right, I've got it all done now, just need to lay the track, and fit a fence around the inner part of the pond next! Oh, and after, the halt and a jetty.

Taddar!!! Spent all of today (9am to 10pm!!) laying the track on the extension, making a permanent (maybe left there though :lol: ) bridge, and building the wire fence around the inner edge of the pond to stop any unwanted disasters! Anyway, it isnt finished yet... tomorrow I'm going up' Cambourne to buy some new points as the second hand ones I bought as a job lot with the track are all pretty crap, so it will be case of fitting those tomorrow. Then after that, it will be ballasting, details etc.

The pond, now all filled up thanks to the hose pipe left on for a few hours! The pump still needs to be connected up though.

Bridge infront of the waterfall, with a fence that seems a bit wonky.

The first train EVER onto the extension. There's no more pics etc, because it kept derailing over the points, and it was dark by the time I'd fixed them enough to go over at a slow speed!

Looks fantastic to me, that bridge is surely going to become a photographers favorite view, the garden bits already look pretty good as well. Nice work

I'm sure you could make a nice bridge, griders or something, to match the niceness of the whole new section it looks really good.

The bridge is a difficult one, because it has to be at an angle across the gap, and wide enough to take a curve of track (so the radius is not too tight either side), so it has to be a flat deck. I will probably make one some time, but I've got other things I need to do before I change the bridge. It will also be hard to fit now all the water is in the pond, access is limited.

How steep is that gradient?
