The lined green looks rather fetching, Didn't know the LNER had a NG line in Kent!

Very nice! Can't decide whether I like the Billy or the Argyle most...

The RH&DR does a passable representation of LNER narrow gauge in Kent (doesn't at least one of theirs carry Apple Green - Green Goddess or Southern Maid?) and it's similar to liveries that Kent and East Sussex locos have carried over the years...

A very nice livery anyway, I may have to pinch it next time I feel a loco repaint coming on. Daisy, my Konrad, is next in line, but is named after my daughter who probably ought to have a say in the matter. Unfortunately she has a real obsession with purple...

What livery for which loco?

At the moment, there are two official companies running on the rails of the K&NWLR. The apple green are all RH and 45mm and supposedly based at the Kent terminus of the line. The dark red ones are all 32mm gauge, mostly smaller locos, and are supposed to be based near the Portmeirion village, hence the K&NWLR Portmeirion Branch suffix attached to them.

Viewers may have noted that this doesn´t acctually account for all engines, for example the GWR / W&L style Pearse locos, to Name but a few, so management may see the need to give other companies access to the tracks as well. Rumour has it that a Penrhyn loco or two have been spotted recently ....

As the clocks go back, no expense is spared to prepare the K&NWLR for the perils of the Welsh winter and/or the wrong kind of snow in Kent, though opinions differ between Perm. Way and Motive Power Depts. about which size of equipment is appropriate.

And here are the collected pics of the new Regner MEG 46, as delivered last week. I´ve removed the sticky label locomotive reference numbers which Regner had applied to the body work. Regner have designed it as a geared locomotive, which should make it a nice, slow runner and able to pull a substantial train. The cab is already quite crowded and I´m still unsure whether I can convert to manual from R/C, as there may not be space in there for a reversing lever.

I was wondering why that one was a bit more expensive than other easy line locos but it looks a good deal more detailed. Interesting prototype.

With winter approaching, the K&NWLR is glad that new enclosed coaches for the rack railway branch are soon to be made available by Perfect World.
