There doesn't seem to a specific answer to "when we will all be speaking in AI speak....

This is why I gave up trying to get AI to create images to use from text prompts. I find it easier and more reliable to use archive photos and use those as a starting point. Gemini & Chat will repose figures in photos without changing their clothing.

I use AI quite a bit and have a paid subscription that lets me access chat gpt,
I go to the free version and ask it to write me a prompt that will let me do X, Y & Z then copy that into the paid version.
I heard a "Tech Guy" person explain that AI is still a tool albeit a very powerful one but it is still only as good as what we put into it. He likened it to google on steroids which does away with all the scrolling through thousands or google replies to find the one that is most helpful.

I think we've all seen issues with Meshy's interpretation of pictures and it creating vastly variable results, sometimes miles from what was intended. On and off for ages I've been trying to get a 3D printable version of a picture a couple of our friends but Meshy simply won't play ball nicely. Just recently I had a marketing email from "Tripo" ( I did have a play some while ago after Paul mentioned it ). It seems to be similar to Meshy, but from this one experiment seems to produce vastly more accurate results, which was said back at that time.:

Tripo seems to have a similar payment structure to Meshy although using the 'free credits for new users' I can't seem to find a way to actually download the stl, so I'm a bit stuck to be able to print it, but on the Tripo workspace the 3d creation spins and looks Ok from the rear so I think it will be Ok. (https://studio.tripo3d.ai/3d-model/b154 ... ode=PNDR3F) The important things is that it does really look like our friends, whereas Meshy has not only distorted their faces beyond recognition but has given Anne a third leg into the bargain! ( I didn't ask Meshy to create the lower halves of their bodies)

Just thought I'd pass this on in case anyone else is interested to giving Tripo a try.

You may be able to create free Tripio 3 models via the Image to print page on Makersworld
https://makerworld.com/en/makerlab/imag ... m=makerlab

My current favourite has been the Hitem 3D , slower, but a decent quality model from it.
