Bloody hell! some of those are brilliant! and i've been trying to get the 1950's/60's look on photos for AGES! will have to get that software now!

Here are a couple that i did a while back, I would post more of the Black and White ones, but being at school, the server isn't letting me!

H.G.Butler (then known as 449 of the DQL) is proudly iding at Dolwyddelan awaiting duties

Early days of the D&FGR (then Dolwyddelan Quarry Line), H.G.Butler (449) hauls one of the first trains on the new line!

Zoom forward a few years, a failed attempt at the 1950's shot, Britomart approaches the summit with a heavy last train of the day

and zoom forward even more, to present day, Pheonix starts up with the last train of the day bound for the quarries

a cool winter morning sees Pheonix blow down in the quarries just as the sun rises over the valley hillside

This one's still a WIP, some may recognise it as my entry to the "Atmosphere" picture competition! but editied (once again!

) set in the mid 1940's, Britomart undergoes trials with the 6:15 quarrymens train in early February

Thats a lovely shot there Ian, full of atmosphere.

I see that people are starting to get to grips with photoscape now, it's amazing the results that can be (& have been) done. Look forward to seeing more lines/loco's/trains featured in an historic way.
