Possible arrangement drawing for Mamod Based Tram Loco

I started working on scaling up some drawings of the Dutch Tram Loco Sylvode, with the thoughts of building it as a rather radical modification for a Mamod loco, in particular based around Dream Steam upgrade boiler and cylinders. Please note that the drawings are just to get a feel for the impression of the proportions and dimensions of the loco.

Really after some feedback, unfortunately the tram has lost some of the compact "cuteness" of the original very short compact loco, however the tram sizes up nicely alongside an IP 4 wheel Brake Van, and would make for a nicely sized 16mm garden railway loco.

The tram uses Mamod wheels, combustion chamber, connecting rods. Replacement frames would allow a full length footplate upon which the cab and skirts would be bolted. Overall dimensions of loco, length would be a couple of mm shorter than an IP Jane, width across cab 95mm. Height to footplate and loco roof as per prototype the loco shapes up very nicely to a Roundhouse Lady Anne heightwise.

Dimensions of Tram as per prototype where possible, length of tram slightly extended to allow use of Mamod cylinder parts.

It's really a freelance loco, but will take it's design traits and details from the Sylvolde tram.

Nice drawings. If your building a tram out of a Mamod Loco, ptlrsam has already made one simular to yours, so if your wanting advice, ask him.

I belive PTLRsam's tram was actually converted out of a mamod traction engine, although I am not sure
I like that tram design, looks a bit like Flower of the Forest on the ratty

Bit too early to get a realistic pricing, but the current design replaces the frames with new parts, enabling a full length footplate rigidly fitted to the chassis, upon which the rest of the bodywork parts can be solidly fitted.

The frames would also allow much simpler fitting of alternative cab, sidetanks etc. As the footplate and frames will contain all the running gear. The sheet metal parts will then just attach around the rolling chassis.
