The PTLR (Wales)
A few photos from mine and laurence703s visit to Resurgams PTLR Wales yesterday
I brought along Britomart and Dolmur Goch, which not long after getting Brit in steam shows that after a hiberation of several months hasn't had an effect on it's power....by running off with Wolverton which was dead...
...and not long after vents its rage on Marmite...
Fighting the bank with 5 LGBs in tow..
Later on Dolmur Goch was brought into steam on it's debut run, it's only taken me 2 years to get the thing running from a box of bits
Superior runs side by side
..and the day was finished off with Resurgam's Resurgam having a quick run!

Good set of photos guys, hope you enjoyed the day as much as I did.
Yes the headlight mounting bracket on No24 is bent slightly upwards, the result of a derailment; it seems to stand out more in pictures than it does in the metal.
At some point in the not too distant future the loco is due for new RC gear and complete re-wiring which will include attention to the intermittently working headlight .
The wonky nature will be duly addressed at that time.
However, mechanically the rest of the loco is in reasonable condition.

Great photos! Hope you don't mind, I saved a copy of the first one, want to use it for my desktop background.
Number 24 does look a little odd with its headlight pointed to the sky. But it's a good looking engine.
