Testing new rail

Post by mymodeltrain » Fri Aug 09, 2013 6:06 pm

Here is my new garden rail from Tennessee. I created this rail a few months ago for my 22-month old daughter. She enjoys it every single day. A lot of work still need to be done, but it's a good start. It took my wife three years of work to grow small plants in a small garden and I convinced her to make the railway surrounding her garden. During Spring and Fall, the garden is very colorful. We have white and purple flowers from the ground-covering mazus. A small bedding of sedum provides yellow flowers. While the red leaves from the maple tree bonsai fits very well with the railway.
I use electric-powered locos from USA trains, Piko and LGB. And of course, I can't say how much thanks to the members of Mylargescale forum for advices during the construction.
