As usual, Maurice booked the weather, the WRR is one line I've never visited in the rain and I've gone most years since 2008! The rolling stock construction program has continued in overdrive, with more vehicles from Brandbright joining the rakes from Andel and IP Engineering. New steam motive power has also arrived in the form of a Roundhouse Alco, but alas he could not be persuaded the steam it. There was plenty of other interest though
Simon (PTLRcecil) regauged Konigs Tun and it put in some good performances despite slowly gaining more steam leaks and loose parts as the day worse on

I took Russell and Urien, both of which ended up double heading. Here Russell is seen with Stelfox, the resident Russell on a long mixed train

Hartside from the Forest Fields Railway crosses the largest of the trestle bridges
Simon also bought Jenny, now in Penrhyn black pending a full rebuild and repaint. The connecting rod ends are getting beyond oval but the loco keeps going!
