A visit to a garden railway.

Post by Tony Bird » Mon Apr 15, 2013 8:57 am

Hi,

Yesterday we went out to lunch with friends after which we went to visit peoples garden that had been open to visitors to support a local charity. One of the gardens visited had a garden railway.

A garden railway.  This is more of a mountain railway!

Very impressive :)

Thanks for sharing.

Lots of rocks and no plants pretty much sums up the scenery of the real Rio Grande narrow gauge lines!

That is truly stunning, amazing canyon style cuttings & water feature. You would need skills of a mountain goat to reach parts of that. Wonder if any earth faults have occurred, if so I bet the wreckage was bad.
Tommy Dodd may have an ARS key but I have a TASS button & a Rope Ladder, just like pirates, except the TASS button bit.
