Let's take a tour around the line, starting at the main terminus Westwood Station (aka "Robin Square")
and here's the monument that gives the site its name;
Brinsley Lodge stands just behind the station.
The line makes its way through the town section, or "The Alley",
before entering woodland, emerging to cross Codnor reservoir.
a popular spot for anglers and bathers!
Codnor Halt is also an ideal start point for ramblers
Beyond Riddings Tunnel, Riddings Halt serves the local market town
while the newly installed Codnor Castle station stands at the junction with Waingroves Quarry.
The quarry is worked by a collection of privately owned loco's, steam
and diesel.
Finally we reach the opposite end of the line at Loscoe
where the station and its facilities serve the town.
The main works for the railway, "Pentrich Sidings", lies just beyond Loscoe Station.
