A wet day at Llechfan

Post by hussra » Thu Nov 01, 2012 8:17 pm

We spent a few days in the Tywyn area at the weekend, for old times' sake. Sunday afternoon at Llechfan was damp but fun... We ran first the blue diesel and later Wilberforce on a short goods, Steve Thorpe had his Brick out, visitors from Leicestershire ran a Silver Lady and (very useful) Criccieth Castle which rescued most of us at one point or other over the course of the afternoon. An Atlantic also ran, but I seem to have missed photographing that.

We had brought the railcar as well but it's fair-weather-only until painted, really - got a run the next day, as shown on its own thread. Meanwhile the younger contingent enjoyed messing around with boats...
