Dear All,
Incase you have not already heared, Peter Longfils of the Rea Valley Light Railway ( www.rvlr.photos.gb.com ) is sadly no longer with us.
I hope to run a memorial train hauled by the SHR loco 'Pete' built and named after the man himself later today.

Sure is, it looked liked he built a great garden railway and was one person who was well into getting a garden railway for a low amount of money, probebly inspiring many people along the way
"What the hell is that?"
"It's a model icebreaker sir."
"It's a bit big isn't it?"
"It's a full scale model sir....."

Sadly I've been waiting to hear this sad news for some weeks now.

Pete was a great inspiration for many of us who had just started out on the exciting hobby of Garden Railways.

His enthusiasm & dedication to promoting this great hobby will be sadly missed.

R.I.P. Pete
