Interesting to say the least, a Mamod-esque 0-8-0. Named King Whitred of Kent:

Looks like it started off life as a 'Chaney' type loco - a Kitten or a Hero perhaps. An interesting find though, cheers chap

Yes, I forgot about the "Kitten", being outside framed, it would be a closer relative.

I always liked the Mike Chaney and Locobox locos, a natural progression and continuation of the Mamod design.

Yes, Chaney was quite the Mamodbasher too - I have quite a few of his bits here at the moment [a funnel and a small gas burner] and sought to replicate some of his other stuff [like his body panels]. Shame he still isn't in business, with the resurgance in Mamodbashing these last few years, well

Its an old Salem Steam loco, Greg (Narrow Minded) has one of their battery locos which uses the same cab

Thanks for the reply Matt, I forgot about Salem. I remember Alan Briggs and Marc Horovitz both had some of their locos.

Again, another progression from the Mamod design.
