A family trip to legoland saw me spending a good hour at miniland looking at the wonderful lands filled with railways

Aye, I remember the Legoland railways...don't remember Waterloo though. I doubt it's new though as the international half is a bit out of date now!

The yard by the container depot used to be a preservation centre with what looked like a Pannier and an Austerity...but last thime I was there they'd been replaced by a pair of 08s...very disappointing

I presume you also saw the "hill train" and the ride-on-railway? Both built by Severn-Lamb I believe.

Bit difficult to make live steam engines out of plastic bricks

But yes, it would be nice, especially on the ride-on line - a 2'6" gauge Lego-style, diesel-powered LSWR 4-4-0 is a fairground ride, but a 2'6" gauge live steam LSWR 4-4-0 would really be something!

Yeah, that would be good. About the live steam on the model lines, they could do what Hornby have done.

No they couldn't, they'd have to pay somone about £5 an hour to operate it!!!!

Completely unpractical with a operation that scale... but Im sure Matt would love to be paint £5 an hour to run them!!!

ROTFL here about mhlr's last coment! I would like to get £5 an hour.

About the mamod accident, that WASN'T MY FAULT! It was the signalmans fault for telling me the section ahead was clear.
